IT Support Officer

UCI Hellas Credit and Loan Receivables Servicing Company Single Member S.A.  (UCI Hellas) is seeking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated IT Support officer to join our team in Athens.

Job description – duties :

  • Work closely with key company employees to perform timely and successful portfolio onboarding projects
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems ( Windows/Linux) and applications on the Company’s Personal Computers (PCs), Notebooks and other desktop devices
  • Study IT Legal Frameworks and Collaborate with the Company’s Legal and Compliance teams to proceed in accordance to the relevant Laws and Regulations
  • Analyze and develop the IT infrastructure necessary for the company’s new business schemes
  • Work closely with external Key providers of Software platforms and manage the development, maintenance and administration of the platforms (eg. AroTron by Relational)
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provide support to staff, including procedural documentation where needed
  • Be able to troubleshoot network problems
  • Diagnose and solve hardware/software issue
  • Make supervised adjustments to desktop systems software and systems configurations
  • Review diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
  • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time
  • Rapidly establish and maintain a good working relationship with staff
  • Perform routine inventory audits of systems, software and Hardware
  • Responsible for the proper and efficient filling of all documents relating to the above procedures
  • Ensure that all Stations’ Operating Systems are fully updated/patched and secured
  • Administer Company’s physical access system


To ideal candidate must have:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject;
  • Proven experience as IT Consultant / Analyst in Servicing company, bank, consulting firm, or similar sector company (2 Years or more).
  • Experience in User Support management and resolution
  • Excellent analytical and problem – solving skills
  • A firm command of the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be responsible for the quality and timeliness of agreed deliverables;

  • MS Office Platform Proficient
  • Local Network Administrator Experience
  • MS GPO configuration experience
  • Domain Networking Experience
  • Linux administration experience
  • MS Sharepoint administration experience
  • AS-400 experience

  • Qualco/AroTron Platforms experience
